I have come to think belonging starts in togetherness, and that is where our project will start. I’ve also come to learn, that with a little gumption, anything can be poetic. not because it’s beautiful, philosophical or true in grandiose ways…but because the art, with subject, muse and method, matters.
so! send me what is deserving to you. maybe it was the cause of a moment you laughed into your next phase of life. maybe it’s for a long lost lover, the one who got away. maybe it’s for one tear that just won’t stop crying. maybe it is just a question and nothing more. even a photograph with no words, only left to my artistic happenstance.
I have to say here, while poems can be therapeutic, I am only a humble author, and while we can hold grief together, it’s important we understand our boundaries within ourselves, and our creative endeavor.
