sometimes it wants headphones.
give me a little something to listen toward.
a memory. three words. a photograph. a person. a color. a question. a voice memo. the kind of night where the streetlights look wrong. a feeling that needs somewhere to go. maybe you know exactly what you want it to feel like. maybe you just want to hand blueberry a strange little pile of things and see what makes noise.
from there, i open garageband and follow what happens.
loops get layered. sounds repeat until they mean something different. maybe there are field recordings. maybe my voice appears. maybe words arrive before melody does. maybe melody never really arrives at all.
these are not studio-produced custom songs, and i am not pretending to be your personal record label.
they are small made-for-you sound worlds — mediated stream of consciousness translated through whatever tools, rhythms, fragments and accidents belong there.
you bring the invitation; i bring the headphones.

you are not commissioning a specific genre, chord progression, vocal performance or radio-ready song unless we explicitly agree otherwise. you are giving blueberry something to listen toward and allowing the making to wander.
sometimes that wandering will sound like a song.
sometimes it might sound more like a fieldnote that learned how to loop.

the fine-ish print –
one final revision is included after you hear the finished piece. revision means adjusting what has already become rather than beginning an entirely new composition.
unless you opt in to creative tagging and sharing, your commission stays between us.
your finished audio is yours to keep, gift and share for personal use. commercial use or exclusive-rights arrangements would need a separate conversation.
turnaround will usually be within one–two weeks after payment and whatever materials you want to send have arrived.
payment is made after the commission is confirmed and before the making begins.
and yes, these are blueberry-made little audio creatures. no generative ai composing the thing behind the curtain.
